Week of June 20th

• Picnic Rescheduled.  I have learned that a goodly number of families will be out of town this Sunday and so, in close consolation with Pauline (our wonderful hospitality coordinator) - we have have decided to reschedule the picnic to either July 11 or 18th, based on what is good for the most of us.  If either of those dates is NOT possible for you, RSVP to me by Friday morning. 
• Community Group - at the Patterson's house (6 pm - chapter 4 of Screwtape Letters).  Sara is preparing a Nicaraguan meal.  RSVP.
• Weekly Prayer - 4:30, Sundays.  This past week a small group gathered prior to our worship service to pray for the service and other needs of our congregation.  All are invited to attend.  The group meets in the room to the left of the nursery.  
• Sunday, July 4th - Holy Baptism of Chloe Raine Markvart, granddaughter of Dick and Myra Markvart.
• Children's Church - would you like to be a part of this important ministry this fall?  Teachers serve in teams of 2, for 1 month at a time.  Materials and training are available.  Please speak with Fr. Patterson to volunteer.
• Vacations - if you are going to be away on a Sunday on which you are scheduled to serve in some way, please find yourself a replacement!
• The Council of Advice has a meeting scheduled for June 24th.
