Mrs. Sharon Wiley, Choir Director
Mrs. Wiley is a trained percussionist (B.M.Ed., UNCG School of Music). She has served as the choir director for many churches, as well as played in several symphonies, numerous theater productions, church orchestras and recorder ensembles. Currently Mrs. Wiley teaches English as a Second Language for Randolph County Schools. She and her husband, Dan, live in Asheboro with their 2 grown sons (Nick & Stephen - are also accomplished musicians!).
Mrs. Amanda Matthews, Pianist/Organist
Mrs. Matthews began piano and violin lessons at age 10. She studied at UNCG (majoring in violin performance) where she studied violin with the late Dr. David Moskovitz and piano with Dr. Paul Stewart. She was the pianist at Florida St. Baptist Church 1982-1984, organist at Northside Baptist Church 1987-1997 and played with the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra 1995-2004. Mrs. Matthews has an in-home studio where she teaches private piano and violin lessons. She regularly freelances in the Triad and surrounding areas. She and her husband, Neal, live in Greensboro with their 2 sons, Casey and Nicholas.
